We’re looking for voluntary Trustees to join our Board and provide governance oversight as well as strategic direction to the centre.

Co-located with Mount Vernon Cancer Centre, we’re a recognised centre of excellence that provides premium CT, MRI and PET-CT imaging services to NHS and private patients via referrers, for the diagnosis, treatment and monitoring of cancer and other serious conditions. The centre delivers and actively supports medical research to improve outcomes for cancer patients.

Paul Strickland Scanner Centre employs nearly 70 staff, including specialist radiologists and radiographers and is governed by a Board of Trustees. For more information, see the centre’s latest annual report.

Trustees have a responsibility to provide challenge to the management team and governance oversight for the daily activities and strategic direction of the centre, including legal and regulatory compliance and financial probity.

The charity is interested in hearing from both experienced trustees and those looking to take their first steps at board level. Business development experience in healthcare would be particularly valuable.

Applicants should demonstrate a willingness to contribute to the governance of Paul Strickland Scanner Centre, bringing their own perspective and expertise to contribute to exciting changes and developments.
