Proactive for your Prostate, a campaign by charity Prostate Cancer Research which Paul Strickland Scanner Centre is championing together with other partners, received a boost recently when it was endorsed by the Daily Telegraph Newspaper. The campaign was launched earlier this year and calls for the immediate rollout of a targeted prostate cancer screening programme for high-risk men, including black men (whose risk is twice that of white men) and those with a family history of prostate cancer.
