Supporter Louise Rayner continues to run the streets of Rickmansworth, delivering mail.

Our incredible fundraiser, Louise Rayner has taken on a tough task this week as Running Postie for Paul Strickland Scanner Centre.

Supporter Louise Rayner from Rickmansworth will join the Rickmansworth Royal Mail team on their rounds delivering post next week and in order to raise funds for Paul Strickland Scanner Centre.

Louise has received her training and Royal Mail have agreed to donate her wages for the week to Paul Strickland Scanner Centre. Louise’s company, NumberMill Accounting Ltd, will match this donation.

Louise said: “I’m excited to share that from December 2nd, I’ll be delivering post around Rickmansworth — on the run! This unique collaboration with Royal Mail and Paul Strickland Scanner Centre combines my love for running with the opportunity to support a cause that’s deeply personal to me.”

“This initiative is in loving memory of my dear friend Julia Bell, who sadly passed away from cancer. Julia always said the scanners at the Paul Strickland Scanner Centre gave her an additional seven precious years with her family, allowing her to meet and spend time with her young grandson, Diego. Her legacy inspires me to give back to the centre that meant so much to her.”

“A special thank-you goes to my running club, The Ricky Running Sisters.”

If you see Louise running through Rickmansworth, please do give her a wave. You can sponsor her at https://www.justgiving.com/page/louise-rayner-1732448466882
