We’ve launched a new private whole-body MRI cancer screening service at Paul Strickland Scanner Centre, offering people a way to check for signs of cancer before symptoms appear.

The scan, which takes around 30 to 40 minutes, looks at major organs and tissues, including the brain, lungs, liver, kidneys, and bones. It is completely non-invasive and uses advanced MRI technology to provide a detailed picture of a person’s health.

One of our experienced radiologists carefully reviews the results, and a full report is sent to the patient’s GP. If anything unusual is found, the GP can arrange further tests or treatment if needed.

This service may appeal to people with a family history of cancer, those with genetic risk factors, or anyone who wants peace of mind about their health. Detecting cancer early can make a big difference in treatment options and outcomes.

Paul Strickland Scanner Centre is a specialist cancer imaging centre, and we have performed more whole-body MRI scans than anywhere else in the world. Our work is recognised internationally, and we are committed to using the latest technology to improve cancer detection.
