This year’s Remember A Charity Week runs from 8 to 14 September. This annual campaign is an opportunity to take a moment to consider leaving a gift to charity in your Will, after looking after family and friends.
Last year almost half the money we received in donations came from gifts in Wills, so they have a huge impact on the work we are able to do for our patients.
However big or small your gift is, it will help us to detect, treat and monitor cancer and other serious illnesses faster and more effectively. It could also help us support clinical research that may transform cancer treatment for good.
You can help us make an enormous difference to the patients who need the latest scanning technology and who rely on your generosity to ensure they receive the best possible care.
Get in touch today for a confidential, no obligation chat. You can ring Caroline Wren on 01923 886315 during office hours or email us at appeals@stricklandscanner.org.uk
‘The staff we saw were wonderful’
Supporter John Walker chose to leave a gift in his Will:
“My dear wife Margaret was treated for metastatic cancer at Mount Vernon, which involved having routine MRI or CT scans at Paul Strickland Scanner Centre to monitor the cancer. The staff we saw were wonderful – so kind, helpful and understanding. This is why we wanted to support you in the valuable work you do. Margaret died on 16 November 2023.
