Apply for Self-Referred Scan

Please review and agree to the following important information before proceeding with your self-referral booking:

MRI scans are not a replacement for specific cancer screening tests such as colonoscopy, stool tests for blood, mammography, cervical smears, PSA tests, or low-dose CT scans, all of which should be performed as recommended by your physician. For example, whole-body MRI may not detect cancers smaller than 1 cm, so it’s essential to be under the care of a physician who can provide ongoing care and advice.

  • MRI scans are available for individuals aged 18 and above.
  • You must complete an online self-referral form, including details about your medical history, risk factors, MRI safety checks, and your GP’s contact information.
  • We do not accept self-referrals from individuals engaged in professional sports or affiliated with professional sports clubs.
  • Referrals will not be accepted if you are undergoing treatment for cancer or are in follow-up care for previous cancer.
  • You must be registered with a GP to whom the report will be sent, and all discussions about future care must occur with your GP.
  • You must complete a safety questionnaire at the time of booking. While we try to ensure your eligibility before making your booking, the information provided at this stage may prevent you from proceeding with the scan or delay it to a later time or date.

Please read the self-referral terms and conditions linked here.
