Stepping Up For Cancer charity walk

A band of brave Paul Strickland Scanner Centre supporters set out to conquer the Buckinghamshire wilderness on Spring Bank Holiday Monday for our annual Stepping Up For Cancer walk.

Friends and family groups came along to enjoy the walk on a beautiful sunny day. The Red Lion in Chenies and Hemel Hempstead Lions helped by sponsoring the event and a group from the Lions came along to help as volunteers.

Asda South Ruislip donated water plus cereal bars and regular supporters The Marshes donated apples for all the walkers. So far £5,000 has been raised and at the time of going to press, we still have more sponsorship money coming in.

A huge thank — you to everyone who took part and helped the day!

The 2024 walk will take place on Bank Holiday Monday 6 May — save the date
