Statement about the review of Mount Vernon Cancer Centre

Although Paul Strickland Scanner Centre is an independent medical charity and we control our own destiny, we have worked in very close partnership with Mount Vernon Cancer Centre since our inception in 1985 and are proud to be the part of the Mount Vernon story.

We are positive about the future and welcome the review into the future of Mount Vernon Cancer Centre. In particular, we agree with and are reassured by the Clinical Advisory Panel’s express recommendation that any reconfiguration of Mount Vernon Cancer Centre should retain the co-location with Paul Strickland Scanner Centre
