Three radiographers are raising money for a significant upgrade to Paul Strickland Scanner Centre by taking part in the Vitality 10,000 in London on 27 May.

The 10km (6.2mile) run starts on the Mall and takes in all the major sites of the capital.

Paula Merry, who has been with the centre for 4 years, is one of those running. She said: “One thing we’re really passionate about at Paul Strickland Scanner Centre is providing patients with the best possible experience and all the money we raise will go towards making a significant upgrade to the centre in the coming months which will really take things to the next level.” She aims to prepare for the big day by running 3 times per week.

The other two radiographers taking part are Rachel Hibbert and Kelly Kilby.
