The sun shone and a fun day was had by all who took part in our Golf Day at Denham Golf Club.
The annual 18-hole team Stableford Competition has been running for over 15 years. This year we had a total of 15 teams, involving 60 people, taking part in the event on Tuesday, 7 June. The competition was won by a team called Biggers Buggy Boys and runners up were Los Sombreros.
Caroline Wren, Fundraising Manager who organised the event said “We had a great turnout this year, the sun was out, and once again the team at Denham Golf Club were brilliant hosts. A big thank you to all our supporters and golfers for their generosity and everyone who helped make this another amazing charity golfing day. A special thanks also go to our volunteers on the day, in particular to Pam Holland and her great team of helpers from Moor Park Golf Club. Auction and raffle prizes were kindly donated by local businesses and individuals. Thank you to all for your generosity. Here’s to next year’s golf day which we are already planning.”
