Once again there was a full house for our Quiz Night in February, which raised £2,400. This event proved so popular we unfortunately had to turn some people away, so make sure you book early for our next Quiz which will be on Saturday 29 June at Greenfields School. The entry fee of £18 per person (teams of six) includes a ploughman’s supper and there will be a cash bar available. Book using the donation form or contact us.

The Bridge Drive took place on March 18 at Moor Park Golf Club. Thanks to Pam Holland for her help with organising the day, and also to everyone who attended or donated prizes.

Upcoming Events

Join us on Bank Holiday Monday 6 May for Stepping Up For Cancer, our annual walk through the countryside, choosing from the full 10km distance or one of the three shortcut options. The bluebells
should be out in bloom and you will also have the opportunity to see the beautiful Tulip Gardens at Chenies Manor when you book your place for this event. Raising sponsorship helps fund our vital services for patients. Please complete the form overleaf to book your place or come along on the day. Registration from 10am, walk starts at 11am, access to the Tulip Gardens from 2pm.

There is still time to book your team’s place for our Golf Day, which returns to Denham Golf Club on Tuesday 11 June. The fantastic course and delicious food make this a popular event, with fun events throughout the day including competitions, a betting hole and an auction. The cost remains the same as last year at £110 per person.

Indicate your interest on the donation form, or get in touch and we will send you further details.

Treks and Challenges

Many of our supporters have chosen to take on various challenges this year in support of Paul Strickland Scanner Centre. These booked challenges include the Ride London-Surrey 100 Cycle
Ride in May and The Big Half run through London in September, but there are many other options available. You can be as ambitious as you like — from a country walk or run, to a huge challenge like
climbing a mountain – we have multiple options available to us.

So if you would like to get involved and challenge yourself while helping our patients, get in touch and we will find the event that is right for you.
