Working for Paul Strickland Scanner Centre

**Latest vacancy: Trustees (voluntary)**

From time-to-time, opportunities become available to join our dedicated team of radiographers, radiologists, clinical support staff and other professionals.

Although Paul Strickland Scanner Centre operates as an independent medical charity totally focussed on ensuring patients have access to the best possible care, all our staff are on NHS contracts. This means you will benefit from an excellent package, including regular opportunities for pay progression under the NHS Agenda for Change scheme, a high cost area supplement, generous holiday allowance, flexible working, comprehensive NHS training and membership of the NHS pension scheme.

The work of the charity is overseen by our voluntary Trustee Board, which is responsible for governing the charity and directing how it is managed and run.

Why we're unique

Our staff are cancer imaging experts and we attract specialist referrals not only from our region, but from across the world. We're leaders in a number of clinical areas, in particular whole-body MRI scanning for cancer.

Due to our charitable status and the generous support from our donors we are able to provide patients with a level of service and access to imaging technology that is superior to what they can expect in many other centres. Our ethical business model means we are totally focussed on patient benefit, and any surplus we generate is reinvested in patient care and medical research to advance cancer imaging and care.

We take real interest in the development of our staff and pride ourselves on providing excellent training and development opportunities.
